Meet Zelda Manteaw, Young Disco Jockey and Philanthropist, Proud Awardee of GKAA 2021

DJ Zelda Manteaw is the world's youngest Radio DJ, at just 10 years old, she is popularly known in the entertainment industry as DJ Zel. She is a British-born Ghanaian disk jockey, singer and dancer. She is the youngest disk jockey to play on radio in the United Kingdom and she currently hosts the UniAfrik Show on GN Radio based in the UK. She is a Young Entrepreneur, Young Philanthropist, Young Black Own Business and Award Winning Professional DJ.



Zelda began her career as a disk jockey in November 2018. She training as a disk jockey at the Subbass Academy of Electronic Music in Westminster and is currently receiving DJ lessons at London Sounds Academy, North West London. She performed at the Barbican centre for the mayor of London, Sadik Khan for London Living Wage. She also performed at St. Georges Cathedral and at the UnAfrik Live Jam in Leicester.





She have been recently awarded with prestigious Global Kids Achievers Awards 2021 in Music and social service. DJ Zel plays various genres of music, including afrobeat, R&B, Pop, Hip-hop, Gospel and many more. DJ Zel has performed both nationally and internationally. She has also been hired to play for various parties and events for example; Ghana Youth Day UK, Miss Ghana UK, Elements of Couture Fashion Week Birmingham, Ghana Music Awards UK, Ghana Music and Arts Award Europe, Nollywood Entertainment Leadership Awards, Mini Mode Kids Fashion Week and International Women’s Day. In July 2019, she was also invited to Ghana to perform at National Theatre and African Update International Magazine and Legacy Centre Awards.
